Contact your existing financial institution or acquirer and ask them for a quote. An Internet merchant account - gives you
permission to accept online credit card transactions. The application process is similar to that of opening a line of credit. There are also companies
that can issue a "third party" merchant account - this is the most expensive option and should only be considered if your bank or acquirer turn you down.
We can recommend low-cost third party providers - please contact us for details.
Add a general donation form to my website
The main component of online fundraising. Every charity and not-for-profit should consider setting up a donation form and then concentrate on driving existing and new donors to give online.
An online donation form is fully customizable to match the current look and feel of your website. Hosted securely. Email and onscreen notifications.
Campaign designations can be added. Simply link the URL given to a "donate online" button on your website. An Internet merchant account is required.

online. The operator simply enters the credit card information into an online form. Immediately after performing the

PCI (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard requires that all merchants using an Internet merchant account be audited under
PCI standards. Currently financial institutions and acquirers are phasing this program in. If your organization has been
told to obtain a "compliance certificate" you will need to be audited under PCI standards.
