The Alberta Cancer Board and Foundation work toward a future without cancer, by coordinating and funding collaborative cancer research and by providing evidence-based prevention, screening, diagnosis, treatment and care.
The term “Cancer Free Future” reflects our commitment to solving the problem of cancer in all its complexity, across the continuum of prevention to treatment and support, with research and surveillance as integral components.
