Alberta Cancer Foundation

The best cancer care calls for teamwork: physicians, nurses, researchers, therapists, pharmacists and technicians, all working together to unravel the mystery of cancer and to deliver cancer care of the highest standard.
Established in 1984 under the Cancer Programs Act, the Alberta Cancer Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of trustees. The Foundation accepts and raises funds to support Alberta Cancer Board research projects, patient education and support programs, equipment and technology acquisition, and cancer treatment programs. It works to match donations to specific needs and encourages and supports charitable contributions from donors on behalf of the Alberta Cancer Board.
The Foundation actively seeks to partner with individuals and organizations that share its objectives and to ensure the responsible use of the resources entrusted to it.
